» One of the first women to get her black belt in Taekwondo in Australia

» During my early years, women didn’t compete. Competition was all male so I was one of the first signatories to the WTF seeking female participation

» Encouraging female participation and helping women succeed at that level

» Shaping Taekwondo to appeal to everyone – it was ‘for the boys’

» Working on the commentary at many Taekwondo Events including international events such as the Asian Games and the Sydney 2000 Olympics

» Jumping  into a guys Taekwondo class in the mid 70s  - the rest is history!

» Making the decision with my husband, to create the first ever Full-time ‘Taekwondo only’ Centre in Australia

» Creating a lifestyle that supported being a working Mum to suit my core values and allowed me to fulfil my human needs of certainty, uncertainty, significance, connection and love, growth and contribution whilst maintaining and sharing a healthy lifestyle

» Pride in each of our 3 children as they evolve their own special talents
