Feel Safe Sessions

FREE SESSIONS FOR FAMILIES

Safety Seminars for Kids and Parents

Taekwondo teaches social and situational awareness, which has never been more important in the wider community. Our Feel Safe sessions are a valuable community resource that you can attend with your children to learn meaningful self-protection strategies, as well as practical physical and emotional self defence skills. We encourage you to tap into your school and social networks and join us in promoting safe and supportive communities for everybody.

FAMILIES FEEL SAFE

Families Feel Safe is designed for kids aged 7 to 12 to attend with a parent. Facilitated by qualified instructors with expertise in child development and social awareness, you’ll learn practical skills and meaningful strategies to help keep you and your family safe in the community. You don’t need to be a Hall’s Taekwondo member or wear a uniform – come as you are and bring your friends as we explore safety, protection (and over-protection) and personal empowerment.

SELF DEFENCE FOR WOMEN

Our self defence sessions for women and girls (13+) promote a healthy body, strong mind and invincible spirit. You’ll build your confidence by learning to recognise and respond positively to threatening situations. We teach you to ARM yourself: AVOID conflict through awareness, RESOLVE conflict via non-physical skills, or MANAGE it when necessary using your physical and mental resources. Enjoy learning to empower yourself in the company of like-minded and resourceful women.

GROUND SELF DEFENCE

Our self defence sessions for men, women and teens (13+ with a parent) teach you to recognise and apply your existing strengths, as well as learn practical and effective responses to threatening situations. We teach you to ARM yourself: AVOID conflict through awareness, RESOLVE via non-physical skills or MANAGE when necessary using your physical and mental resources. Our instructors are combat trained to empower you – literally from the ground up.
